"What I'm Drinking Tonight" started as an on-line edition of the Wine Appreciation group. We now meet in person on the first Thursday of each month to taste, discuss and learn about wine, exploring grape varieties, wine regions and countries.

Members take it in turn to host the meeting, select the topic, choose the wines and lead the discussion; costs are evenly shared and covered by a modest contribution.

As a result, we all get to taste wines that are new to us and which we might never have otherwise tried. As you can imagine, meetings are convivial as well as informative.

We regret that this group is now full, but there may be vacancies on the 'reserve' list - and 'reserve' members can often participate when a 'regular' is away or unwell. To express an interest and join the reserve list, contact the group leader using the link on this page..
