Group Leader: Lindy Bates

The Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month, to discuss a particular scientific or technological topic. Sometimes we have used TED talks or Gresham College Lectures, both of which provide a lively video presentation with the use of a projector. Subjects range widely across fields from theoretical physics, quantum mechanics and the Big Bang to cognitive neuroscience and biologically-inspired engineering. But don't worry! No specialist knowledge is required.

Group members collectively agree the subjects for forthcoming meetings and take it in turns to present topics.
